Nokia says 2005 handset mkt growth may top 10 pct

HELSINKI, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The world's top mobile phone
maker Nokia said on Thursday the handset market could
grow faster than its official forecast of around 10 percent in
2005.
"It could be a little higher, I think that there are some
signals that it could be just a bit higher, but 10 percent is a
good benchmark to start the year," Chief Executive Jorma Ollila
told CNBC television.
Ollila also said that Nokia aimed to take more handset
market share in 2005.
"Our very determined goal continues to be that we will take
share, and we have every opportunity with our product portfolio
to do exactly that throughout 2005," he said.
