Fitch Rates General Motors' Proposed Notes 'BBB'

Fitch Ratings-Chicago-05 September 2018: Fitch Ratings has assigned a rating of 'BBB' to General Motors Company's (GM) proposed issuance of senior unsecured notes. The notes will be issued in three tranches with floating-rate senior unsecured notes due 2021 and fixed-rate senior unsecured notes due 2028 and 2049. GM's Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) is 'BBB', and its Rating Outlook is Stable.
