Neil Young è in assoluto il mio artista preferito sia dal punto di vista musicale che dal lato della sensibilità. Nella sua carriera ha scritto troppe canzoni e non tutte sono a mio avviso di grande qualità. Ma lui è così, la musica è tutto. Quando parte con i suoi assoli di chitarra lo vedi, lo percepisci che si isola, che potrebbe andare avanti all'infinito, che vive dentro quei suoni che escono dalle sue mani.

Porei postare decine di brani stupendi. Cavalcate su praterie elettriche, ballate melodiche, etc. Ne posto uno solo. Un pezzo melanconico, a tratti struggente, intimo. Probabilmente il mio preferito. SOno ormai 25 anni che lo conosco e tutte le volte che lo ascolto riesce ancora ad emozionarmi. Specie se lo ascolto da solo, con calma e aluci soffuse.

Dopo cat's in the crandle mi viene automatico postare qualcosa di Cat Stevens. Tralascio gli immortali capolavori che hanno fatto "sognare" e accompagnato intere generazione e inserisco un brano forse poco conosciuto. Triste e melanconico, un piccolo gioiello.
