Yarvin identifica come problematica alla piena espressione delle libertà individuali la Cattedrale.

- ritiene che la natura umana sia fluida e modificabile (quella che Steven Pinker chiama "tabula rasa")
- non gradisce le gerarchie di merito
- è sempre alla ricerca di persone che ritiene incapaci di ragionare e debbano essere rieducate
- è cosmopolita, ma solo se non deve mandare i suoi figli a fallire nelle scuole pubbliche
- per espansione ritiene che le società etnicamente eterogenee funzionino così come gli stati nazione
- promuove la moltiplicazione dei "diritti senza dovere".
