Arabica coffee futures have declined to around $1.9 per pound, moving down from a nine-week peak of almost $2 on February 21st due to increased stocks and expectations of a rise in production. Arabica coffee inventories, monitored by ICE, have reached a 3-1/2-month high of 297,445 bags, rebounding from a 24-year low seen in November. Brazil is expected to see a 4.2% increase in coffee production for the 2024/25 season, reaching 67 million bags according to StoneX. Furthermore, recent data showed that coffee exports from Vietnam, the top producer of robusta coffee beans, surged by 14.8% month-on-month and 67.4% year-on-year to 238,266 metric tons in January.​
