3 considerazioni:
1. il simpatico sito che da i segnali secondo le candele oggi chiede scusa per essersi sbagliato sul BUY...quindi non siamo i soli a essere stati fregati, ma alla fine dice HOLD non sell...
2. i COT davano per il 2 ottobre un +7000 LONG, quindi hanno fatto una bella Bull Trap...si sono girati Short
3. ICE Arabica-coffee futures dropped to the lowest settlement in just over a month on Tuesday, as signs of a strong Brazilian harvest next year weighed on prices. Brazil is wrapping up its 2012-13 harvest, which the government estimates will be a record 50.48 million 60-kilogram bags. Growers there have been holding out on selling their coffee as prices have dropped. ICE Arabica coffee for December delivery lost 2.3% or 3.8 cents to settle at $1.6530 a pound, the lowest front-month settlement since Sept. 7. Liffe robusta coffee futures end the session a tad lower as a result of more long liquidation. LIFFE January is settled down $6, or 0.3%, at $2,074/ton.
i Brasiliani NON vendono perchè il prezzo è troppo basso, i Colombiani protestano perchè il prezzo è troppo basso e...se guardiamo il grafico postato oggi sul 2010, vediamo che può scendere fino a 160 ma poi, tanto, sale a 210
se fosse cambiato il trend di lungo, se fossimo sui massimi di prezzo 280-290, se non fosse la stagionalità positiva, se non ci fosse il QE3...allora potremmo metterci Short e fare tesoro dell'esperienza...ma non è così

HONOLULU — Hawaii's coffee farmers saw production go down but prices go up.
According to a government report, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser (Coffee sales fall by $1.9M Hawaii News, Honolulu, Honolulu News, Sports, Editorial, Features, Travel and Business - Honolulu Star-Advertiser - Hawaii Newspaper) says bugs and dry weather hurt coffee production, but higher prices offset some of the decline.
The National Agricultural Statistics Service report says coffee farmers statewide produced 7.6 million pounds of beans for sale during the 2011-12 season. That is a 14 percent drop from 8.8 million pounds in the prior season.
However, the report says the average price per pound of coffee paid to farmers rose 9 percent to $4.15 in the recent season from $3.80 in the prior season. The price increase added $2.7 million to total industry sales of $31.5 million.
Sales in the previous season totaled $33.4 million.
