Aldesa starts its activity in Uruguay

Continuing with the press release published in November 5th, 2018 on a road concession Project in Uruguay, Grupo Aldesa has gone from being preferred bidder to being the provisional successful tenderer of the project, and will become the definitive successful tenderer once the financial closure and the concession contract have been signed.

Aldesa Group has completed the sale of its 50% stake in two wind farms named Eólico Alijar S.A. (24MW) and Valdivia Energía Eólica S.A. (28,5MW) according with the Purchase and Sale agreement signed on December 28th, 2018.
The buyer was Acciona Energía S.A. and after the sale owns 100% of the two windfarms.
The sale has resulted in a cash inflow of €10.5 million for the Aldesa´s Restricted Group and in addition to this inflow a reduction for the consolidated group debt of €6.0 million (including principal, interests and the derivatives as of the signing date).
The transaction described above proves Aldesa’s willingness to dispose these assets when favorable market conditions evolve.
