MILAN (Reuters) - Italy's competition watchdog said on Thursday it was looking into the acquisition of Telecom Italia broadcasting unit Persidera by Italian infrastructure fund F2i.
The regulator said it believed the purchase of the unit by F2i, which already has a significant stake in tower company EI Towers, risked creating a dominant position.
The investigation will last 45 days, it said.
