Uno dei certificati abbastanza gettonati qui sopra e in buona quantità anche nel mio ptf da diverso tempo, ma il rimborso non lo vedo come necessario, non avendo una vita residua particolarmente lunga.

(Reuters) - A federal judge overseeing lawsuits alleging Bayer glyphosate-based weed killer causes cancer has issued a ruling that could severely restrict evidence that the plaintiffs consider crucial to their cases.
U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria in San Francisco in an order on Thursday granted Bayer unit Monsanto's request to split an upcoming trial into two phases. The order initially bars lawyers for plaintiff Edwin Hardeman from introducing evidence that the company allegedly attempted to influence regulators and manipulate public opinion.
Thursday's order applies to Hardeman's case, which is scheduled to go to trial on Feb. 25, and two other so-called bellwether trials which will help determine the range of damages and define settlement options for the rest of the 620 Roundup cases before Chhabria.

House Democrats passed a spending package aimed at reopening the federal government, defying President Trump’s demands for border-wall funding on their first day in power.
The US and China will hold trade talks early next week. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has confirmed that, reports Reuters.
A group led by US Deputy Trade Representative Jeffrey Gerrish will visit Beijing on Monday to have "positive and constructive discussions", the ministry said in a statement on its website.
The United States and China decided at the G20 meeting in late November to introduce a trade war break. The countries have given each other 90 days, until March 1, to try to find a solution to the trade dispute.

Altro che ulteriori strette monetarie firmate da Jerome Powell nel corso del 2019. Le attese dei trader sul mercato OIS sono ormai per un taglio dei tassi di interesse in Usa, soprattutto dopo la diffusione, avvenuta nella giornata di ieri, dell'indice ISM manifatturiero americano, che ha sofferto il calo più forte dall'ottobre del 2008, praticamente dai tempi del crac di Lehman Brothers. Il risultato, alimentato anche dall'avversione al rischio degli investitori, è che il tasso sul contratto overnight index swap (OIS) sul dollaro Usa a giugno 2020 - che fino a meno di mesi fa era vicino al 3% - è precipitato nella sessione di ieri al 2,04%, confermando come il mercato stia scommettendo su tassi di interesse inferiori di oltre 30 punti base entro la metà del 2020. Praticamente, un taglio dei tassi dello 0,25% è pienamente scontato, ora, dai trader. Lo scorso 19 dicembre, a dispetto dei ripetuti avvertimenti lanciati dal presidente americano Donald Trump, la Federal Reserve di Jerome Powell ha alzato i tassi sui fed funds Usa di un quarto di punto percentuale, al range compreso tra il 2,25% e il 2,50%. La Fed ha tuttavia rivisto al ribasso le stime sulle strette monetarie del 2019 dalle precedenti tre a due. Da segnalare che l'ISM manifatturiero Usa ha sofferto a dicembre un forte calo a 54,1 punti, rispetto ai 59,3 del mese precedente. Le stime erano per un dato a quota 57,9.
