Stefan Dürr, CEO of Ekosem-Agrar AG: "The company's operational development continues to be stable, despite certain uncertainties in view of the current macroeconomic and political situation. These also make the range and reliability of our forecasts more difficult, but we can be very satisfied with the operationally generated results to date and currently do not see any significant negative influences for the year as a whole.” “Securing the flow of liquidity to Germany continues to cause us concern. We are working on various approaches to ensure this,” adds CFO Wolfgang Bläsi.
Ekosem-Agrar AG can also report progress in the context of the company's sustainability strategy: The operation in Dobrino in the Voronezh region was the first location in the group to be converted to wind energy supply. This makes Ekoniva the first raw milk producer in Russia to operate a dairy farm entirely with renewable energy. The company is currently examining the conversion of other operations in order to steadily reduce its CO2 emissions.
