Lebanon 'B-/B' Ratings Affirmed; Outlook Stable

OVERVIEW

  • Ongoing political uncertainty has driven the Banque du Liban to conduct
unusual and unsustainable financing engineering operations to meet
government external financing needs and maintain confidence in the
    currency peg.
  • We anticipate that the general government debt burden will continue to
rise from already high levels through 2021, but that deposit inflows will
remain sufficient to support Lebanon's large twin deficits over the next
    12 months.
  • We are therefore affirming our 'B-/B' long- and short-term sovereign
    credit ratings on Lebanon.
  • The outlook remains stable.

Cape Verde Ratings Affirmed At 'B/B'; Outlook Stable

OVERVIEW

  • Cape Verde's net general government debt remains high, and its external
    financing needs are still elevated.
  • However, we expect relatively robust economic growth and moderate fiscal
deficits to gradually bring down the debt-to-GDP ratio.
  • We are therefore affirming our 'B/B' ratings on Cape Verde.

Grazie fabrizio,
adesso mi spiego i ribassi.

:pollicione:
