KTG Agrar SE has successfully tackled, 2015 against the challenging market environment in agriculture
As a major agricultural producer KTG Agrar SE has consistently pursued in 2015 its sustainable path. The 2015 has shown how unpredictable can be the global agricultural markets and how important it is to have developed a diversified business model. 2015 was in agriculture characterized by high global harvests and thus low product prices.
Group sales increase by 92.4 million euros to 326.5 million euros
Operating profit increased by 4.4 million euros to 59.0 million euros

In Germany alone, the organic sector has implemented more than EUR 8.6 billion with food and beverages in the year, 2015. This represents a growth of 11% over the previous year and is the largest increase since 2008. Similar developments can be observed worldwide. KTG-brand "biozentrale" has benefited disproportionately. Sales increased in 2015 by almost 20% to around 54 million euros. This momentum is expected to continue in 2016th . In the first four months of this year, sales of Bio-Zentrale is already significantly higher than the same period last year.
Besides Bio is exciting trends develop three more very pleasing for us: regional , vegetarian and vegan. KTG Agrar is predestined, these consumer needs to operate and grow with them. The company produces high quality agricultural commodities and food in the heart of Europe. For non-GM soy KTG has developed a leading market position in recent years . This is the basis for vegetarian cuisine and on the world market in short supply.
