Novo Banco ha registrato un utile netto di 137,7 milioni di euro nei primi sei mesi dell'anno, contro una perdita di 555 milioni nello stesso periodo dell'anno precedente, ha reso noto oggi l'istituto guidato da António Ramalho, in un
comunicato diffuso su CMVM sito web.
Secondo Novo Banco, il risultato netto positivo “dimostra la capacità di generare ricavi e generare capitale”.
Il margine di interesse è cresciuto del 13,1% su base annua, mentre l'utile operativo è aumentato del 9,7% e l'utile operativo è aumentato del 27,5% a 220,7 milioni di euro. I servizi alla clientela crescono del 3,1% a 135,5 milioni di euro, con commissioni rimaste stabili (-0,5%) nonostante la pandemia, evidenzia la banca.

Novo Banco sostiene che questi dati dimostrano che, “oltre agli investimenti nel business e nella trasformazione digitale, l'attenzione all'ottimizzazione dei costi e all'attuazione di miglioramenti in termini di semplificazione e ottimizzazione dei processi, si traduce in un miglioramento dei rapporti di business. efficienza”. cost-income mantiene così il trend di miglioramento, chiudendo il semestre al 48,1%, rispetto al 55,3% di un anno fa.
Gli impieghi alla clientela sono diminuiti dello 0,4% a 23,5 miliardi di euro, mentre la raccolta da clientela è aumentata del 3,7% rispetto al 31 dicembre 2020, sostenuta da un aumento della raccolta 782 milioni di euro (più 3%).
Nel primo semestre 2021 l'importo destinato al rafforzamento delle svalutazioni e degli accantonamenti è stato pari a 89,2 milioni di euro (di cui 35,2 milioni di euro di svalutazioni aggiuntive dovute alla crisi pandemica), che rappresenta un decremento del 74% rispetto all'anno precedente -anno nel 2020. Il costo del rischio era di 68 punti base, che sarebbero 40 punti base se si escludessero le svalutazioni create nel semestre legate all'attuale contesto Covid-19.
L'indice dei crediti deteriorati (NPL) è passato dall'8,9% di fine anno scorso al 7,3% del 30 giugno, con un tasso di copertura che è passato dal 74,1% al 78,4%.
Il coefficiente patrimoniale CET 1 di Novo Banco a fine giugno si attestava al 10,9%, con il coefficiente di solvibilità totale al 12,8% e il coefficiente di liquidità al 150%. (JE)
