E' tanto che non seguo Novo Banco..ma è messo così male da offrire rendimenti così elevati?

Stiamo parlando di una subordinata...
Novo banco è messo molto meglio rispetto il passato...
Sarebbe interessante capire a quanto emetterebbe una subordinata una banca più blasonata oggi...

Novo banco ha emesso a 9.875% una t2 pochi GG fa

Con i tassi attuali mi pare ottimo, oltre 11% ... e anche tornando ai tassi negativi del 2021 rimarremmo attorno l'8%

con i tassi attuali è ragionevolmente logico.
Anzi, una volta raccolto con la nuova emissione, probabilmente ora hanno cash sufficiente per richiamarla in toto.

The current amount outstanding is €193.6 million. This decision follows the successful issuance of a 10.5NC5.5 Tier 2 bond (ISIN: PTNOBLOM0001) in the amount of € 500 million as announced on 24 May 2023, and the authorization received from the European Central Bank. The announcement of the early redemption is available on the website of Euronext Dublin. This announcement is made in accordance and for the purpose of article 29-Q, No. 3 of the Portuguese Securities Code and article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
