(Reuters) - O presidente Jair Bolsonaro disse nesta segunda-feira que viajará a Davos, na Suíça, na próxima semana para participar do Fórum Econômico Mundial.

“Estou confiante e feliz com essa grande oportunidade de apresentar a líderes do mundo todo um Brasil diferente, livre das amarras ideológicas e corrupção generalizada”, disse o presidente pelo Twitter.

Petrobras could introduce a new sale and purchase agreement for the sale of the TAG natural gas pipeline after the chief justice of Brazil's Supreme Court overturned a previous injunction that had stalled the sale.
The ruling temporarily restores a presidential decree regulating asset sales by the company and should hold until Feb. 27, when the full Supreme Court will hear the case.
PBR hopes to fetch ~$7B through the sale of pipeline infrastructure and invest the proceeds in deepwater plays in the Atlantic, which are considered more profitable investments.

One of three new board members nominated by the Brazilian government to sit on the board of state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA <PETR4.SA> was previously fined by securities regulator CVM for insider trading, according to documents seen by Reuters.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday signed a decree temporarily making it easier for Brazilians to buy guns, a first step toward a campaign promise to overturn strict regulations that have essentially prohibited civilians from bearing arms.

Petrobras says FY 2018 domestic production fell 5.5% to 2.03M bbl/day of oil, just shy of its target of 2.1M bbl/day, affected by delays in the start-up of some pre-salt production units.
Total full-year production of oil and natural gas was 2.63M boe/day, short of the company's 2.7M boe/day target, while 2019 output is forecast at 2.8M boe/day.
Separately, PBR says John Forman declined the government’s nomination to join the board; reports had said Forman was fined by Brazil's securities regulator in 2016 for insider trading.

SÃO PAULO (Reuters) - O Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI) elevou nesta segunda-feira a perspectiva de crescimento do Brasil neste ano, vendo a continuidade da recuperação após a recessão que afetou o país, mas ao mesmo tempo reduziu a previsão para o ano que vem.

Na revisão de seu relatório “Perspectiva Econômica Global”, o FMI passou a ver uma expansão de 2,5 por cento da economia brasileira este ano, 0,1 ponto percentual a mais do que em outubro.

Reforma da Previdência deve ser apresentada após eleição das mesas do Congresso, diz Mourão





BRASÍLIA (Reuters) - A proposta do governo de Jair Bolsonaro para a reforma da Previdência só deve ser apresentada após a eleição das presidências da Câmara dos Deputados e do Senado, afirmou nesta segunda-feira o vice-presidente Hamilton Mourão, que exerce interinamente a presidência da República.

“Acho que apresentada só depois da eleição para a presidência da Câmara e do Senado”, disse o vice-presidente, questionado sobre a reforma por jornalistas. Mourão ocupa a Presidência interinamente pois Bolsonaro está em Davos, na Suíça, onde participará do Fórum Econômico Mundial.
