Zelensky accused Hungary of violating Ukraine's airspace with its drones, which could have been conducting reconnaissance.
- "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported recent incidents involving drones at the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. Ukrainian military recorded incursions into our airspace by reconnaissance drones, which are likely Hungarian drones. Preliminary assessments suggest they could have been conducting reconnaissance on the industrial potential in the Ukrainian border areas. I have instructed to check all available data and promptly report every recorded fact," Zelensky said following a meeting with Syrsky.
- Earlier, Zelensky stated that Hungary, through its agents, was gathering information about the location of air defense and military units in Transcarpathia, as well as the possible reaction of local residents in case Hungarian peacekeepers were deployed.
