Aldesa Group has completed the sale of the photovoltaic portfolio named Enersol Solar Santa Lucía (45MW) according with the Purchase and Sale agreement signed on September 28th, 2018. The previous shareholders of the portfolio were Aldesa Gestión de Energías Renovables, S.L.U. (51%), Neif Infrastructure Investment Holding I, B.V. (24.5%) and Ampere Project Holding 2, B.V. (24.5%).
The buyer has been Deep Blue Energy S.L., an investment fund that has acquired 75.5% of Enersol Solar Santa Lucía S.L., including the 51% held by Aldesa Gestión de Energías Renovables and the 24.5% of Ampere Project Holding 2.
Enersol Solar Santa Lucía was included in the Unrestricted Group and its shareholder Aldesa Gestión de Energías Renovables S.L.U is part of the Restricted Group.
The sale has resulted in a cash inflow of €20.2 million for the Restricted Group.
Regarding the Unrestricted Group, this transaction has resulted in a reduction for the consolidated group debt of €95 million (including principal, interests and the derivatives as of September 30th, 2018).
The transaction described above proves Aldesa’s commitment of using the Unrestricted Group to foster new business for the Restricted Group and its willingness to dispose these assets when favorable market conditions evolve.
