LONDON, April 19 (Reuters) - The yen briefly fell against the euro and dollar after Japan's top financial diplomat Hiroshi Watanabe said the Japanese currency was not too weak just now.
Speaking in Abu Dhabi, Watanabe also said yen movements are market determined, adding he had no worries about the yen from a domestic perspective.
By 0823 GMT the euro rose to 160.22 yen <EURJPY>, jumping about 30 ticks, before moving back to 159.93. The dollar jumped above 118 before trimming gains <JPY>.
