Negative stockholders’ equity could trigger a mandatory dissolution proceeding under Article 457 of the Colombian commercial code due to shareholders’ equity representing less than 50% of share capital. At June 30, 2016 the Company has negative Shareholders’ Equity nevertheless the existence of such dissolution event would be only verified on the date the general shareholders’ meeting approves the audited financial statements for fiscal year 2016. Under Colombian law, the Company would then have an 18-month period to adopt any necessary measures to increase the shareholders’ equity to a level of at least 50% of our subscribed capital stock.

Vedo che la proprietà è al 70% di Telefonica e al 30% del Governo Colombiano...l'azionista di maggioranza dovrebbe essere una buona garanzia x i loro bond....

Petrobras Q2 net profit slides 30%; debt picture improves slightly

Petrobras (NYSE:PBR) reports Q2 net income of 370M reais ($118M), including a 1.12B real impairment charge from the Comperj refinery project, a 30% Y/Y drop from 531M reais a year earlier.

The average profit estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Reuters was 1.81B reais, although estimates ranged from a 5.56B real profit to a 1.25B real loss, as analysts struggle with a lack of clear company guidance.

Q2 revenue fell 11% Y/Y to 71.3B reais, slightly below the consensus 73.8B reias, hurt by weak fuel demand from Brazil's severe recession and lower global oil prices; Q2 EBITDA rose 2.8% to 20.3B reais, in line with analyst estimates.

Total debt improved a bit, ending Q2 at $123.9B, down 2% from year-end 2015, and equivalent to 4.49x adjusted EBITDA vs. 5.31x at the end of 2015.
