Distributions on Rabobank Certificates (which is a perpetual instrument) are fully discretionary. Rabobank has the intention to make distributions in line with its payment policy, which can be found
here.
In short, this means that Rabobank intends to make a quarterly payment on a Rabobank Certificate of whichever of the following is
higher:
(a) EUR 0.40625; and
(b) the three-monthly arithmetical average (rounded off to two decimal places) on an annual basis of the effective return on the most recent 10-year Dutch state loan plus 1.5%-point, calculated on the nominal value of EUR 25 divided by four.
Please note that the intended quarterly payment of EUR 0.40625 per certificate compares to 6.5% (annualized) over a nominal value of EUR 25. Payment dates are 29 March, 29 June, 29 September and 29 December of each year (provided these are business days).
Please note that we cannot make any statements regarding any future payments; the Managing Board of Rabobank can always decide whether or not a distribution will be made, as well as the level and form of any distributions on Rabobank Certificates.
E ANCORA, IN RISPOSTA AD UN'ALTRA RICHIESTA DI CHIARIMENTI:
Rabobank has the
intention to pay at least 6.5% per annum on a nominal amount of EUR 25 per certificate. However, this is
not an obligation; the Managing Board of Rabobank can always decide whether or not a distribution will be made, as well as the level and form of any distributions on Rabobank Certificates. The certificates count towards Rabobank’s Common Equity Tier 1 capital.
