S&P Global Ratings forecasts Turkey’s real GDP growth will more than halve year-on-year to 2.3 percent in 2023, and predicts a “sharp currency depreciation”, with the lira falling to 40 to the dollar in 2024.

Vikas Lakhwani, chief revenue officer at trading platform CPT Markets, said the lira is unlikely to hold at current levels, could break below 30 before year-end and will fall a further 20 percent versus the dollar next year.

A si, scusa !!! .... ( avevo in mente l'attuale quotazione TRY x EUR = 32,14 ): ... mentre l'attuale conversione TRY x USD è inferiore a 30.

In effetti il testo non mi é ben chiaro comunque dice che la lira si indebolira un 20% sul dollaro ( ,e magari cosî poco dico io )

...piu che altro preoccupa il fatto che non riescono a fare nulla almeno per fermarla.

vero che col rialzo dei tassi usd e eur si sono a loro volta rafforzate,vediamo che succede ora che i rialzi sembrano finiti

...i bond in usd tengono anche quelli in euro.
Le riserve da 77 a 57 in mesi 12 il dato peggiore in assoluto .
I cds scesi a 270 fanno pensare bene .
