Creditreform Rating has downgraded the corporate rating of Rickmers Holding AG from B- (watch) to CCC. Reason for the downgrade is the still difficult environment in the container shipping market. Excess capacities keep charter rates low, which increasingly affects the operating result of Rickmers Group. Therefore and in contrast to the beginning of the year, we evaluate the market opportunities for potential capital and refinancing provisions as weak. The rating outlook is stable.
