Moody's withdraws its ratings on Astaldi for business reasons

Frankfurt am Main, January 09, 2020 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has today withdrawn its ratings on Italian construction company Astaldi S.p.A. (Astaldi), including the Ca corporate family rating (CFR), the Ca-PD/LD probability of default rating (PDR) and the Ca instrument ratings on the EUR750 million senior unsecured notes due December 2020, as well as the negative outlook.

COMPANY PROFILE
Headquartered in Rome, Italy, Astaldi S.p.A. provides general contracting, construction and procurement services with consolidated construction revenue of EUR2.9 billion in 2017. Projects include highways, railways, bridges, tunnels, subways, airports, commercial and civil buildings, mining and industrial facilities. Established in 1922 and listed since 2002, the majority of the company's capital stock is owned by the Astaldi family. In 2018, the company applied for admission to the procedure for composition with creditors with reservation, pursuant to Article 161, subsection 6, and Article 186-bis under Italian insolvency law.
