(Direct) US President Donald Trump went on Thursday to renew attack on Amazon.
In a twitter statement, he writes that he expressed concern about the company's conduct far ahead of the election.
"Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to states or local governments, using our postal system as their own bid (and causing huge losses to the United States) and causing thousands of retailers to crash," he writes.
The news site, Axios, reported on Wednesday about Donald Trump's concern that Amazon makes small business owners bankrupt and prepared to make it more difficult for e-commerce giants, including a harsher fiscal policy.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said later on Wednesday that no specific measures against Amazon are being planned at this time.
The share in Amazon is down just over 1 percent in the trade after losing just over 4 percent on Wednesday.
