MILANO (MF-DJ)--Gruppi locali e internazionali di primaria importanza sarebbero interessati a rilevare Igdas, il
principale fornitore di gas di Istanbul che rifornisce circa 4,2 milioni di clienti a cui distribuisce ogni anno 4
miliardi di metri cubi di gas naturale. Tra loro, l'italiana Eni.
Lo riferisce l'edizione odierna del quotidiano turco Zaman citando una fonte anonima delle autorita' municipali di
Istanbul, che avrebbe riferito di un interesse gia' manifestato per l'acquisto di Igdas da parte di oltre 20 grandi
societa' internazionali e turche. Tra le principali societa' in lizza figurerebbero la russa Gazprom, la francese Gaz de
France, l'italiana Eni e le tedesche Ewe e Enbw, oltre alla turca Zorlu Holding.
L'interesse alla vendita di Igdas non e' stato ancora reso pubblico, ma sarebbe imminente. La fonte interpellata da
Zaman ha anche precisato che la somma ricavata dalla cessione della municipalizzata finira' per intero al comune di
Istanbul, che la utilizzera' per sviluppare ulteriormente la rete metropolitana e altre infrastrutture in citta'.

The offer values Sphere 61% above its A$1.55 closing price Monday and 73% over its 30-day volume-weighted average price, Xstrata said in a statement.
The offer has been unanimously recommended by the Sphere's board, who own 5.4% of its diluted equity, Sphere said.
The acquisition "gives Xstrata exposure to (the) attractive iron ore market through organic growth projects," Xstrata said.
Sphere has interests in the Guelb el Aouj, Askaf, and Lebtheinia projects in the West African nation of Mauritania.
