Danimarca ed Austria cominceranno dalla prossima settimana ad aprire qualcosa..
Denmark joined Austria in announcing a gradual relaxation of measures imposed to slow the novel coronavirus, as attention in Europe began to turn to exit strategies once the worst of the pandemic passes.
Denmark will press ahead with a “cautious reopening” starting with kindergartens and primary schools on April 15 if the virus numbers remain stable, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said at a press briefing in Copenhagen on Monday evening. The government will also start talks with business leaders on gradually moving employees back into offices, Frederiksen said.
Denmark’s cases are “
going in the right direction,” but some restrictions will remain in place for months to come, she said. “We’ve managed to avoid the misfortune that has befallen a number of other countries,” Frederiksen said. “The only reason for that” is that “we acted early.”
Denmark and Austria were among the first countries in Europe to shut down public life in response to the Covid-19 outbreak that first emerged in China. Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz earlier announced the
first steps to restart his country’s economy, with small retailers, hardware and gardening stores allowed to reopen after Easter, to be followed by the opening of all stores from May 1.
