Greece developments must be monitored, Germany says

BERLIN Jan 19 (Reuters) - The developments in Greece need to be closely monitored, a German government spokesman said on Wednesday.
The spokesman added Greece is on a difficult path. He said the Greek government has dismissed the need for any further help.
Earlier, the finance ministry denied a report in the weekly newspaper Die Zeit that the government in Berlin was planning a rescheduling or restructuring of Greek government debt.
