April budget revenues up 3% y-o-y to €3.95bn
According to press reports, budget revenues in April were up by 3% y-o-y, to €3.95bn. The reports claim that in the Jan-Apr period, the budget revenues reached €15.1bn vs €15.9bn last year and the government's target for €16.3bn.
Note that the annual target for the budget revenues stands at +8.5% y-o-y. Recall that the government has already announced its intensions to take up to €3bn worth of extra measures in order to make sure that will manage to achieve the fiscal targets for the year. The EU/IMF reps that are currently visiting Greece to monitor the progress of the fiscal consolidation plan, reportedly have raised concerns on whether the government will manage to achieve the year end revenue targets.
