l'avevo già scritto, secondo il report di Barclays del 27/07, BCE ha comunicato che non parteciperà ... però non ho trovato dove è la comunicazione BCE

In questa notizia un po' datata (giugno 2010) si legge che:

Raggiungere l'avanzo primario nel prossimo anno?
E tornare sul mercato già nel 2014?
Sembra francamente impossibile per come vanno ora le cose...e mancano solo tre anni al 2014...
Forse nemmeno Dracone ci riuscirebbe.
Tu li vedi praticabili questi obiettivi?

Sull'avanzo primario a partire dal prossimo anno c'è una concordanza di vedute tra il governo di Atene e la Troika, lo vedo praticabile.
Per il ritorno nel 2014, se i piani procedono come concordati, senz'altro.

L'atteggiamento della BCE dipenderà dall'evolversi della situazione.
Se aderirà allo swap o ad un futuro buy-back lo potremmo sapere dai suoi prezzi di carico (che non sappiamo, e non sappiamo neppure esattamente i titoli che ha in ptf).
E' ovvio che se aderisce allo swap e sarà in perdita dovranno poi intervenire gli Stati a ricapitalizzare.
Dato che lo scopo della BCE non è speculare sui mercati, Trichet adotterà la soluzione più consona.

New tax system in the pipeline

The government aims to unveil a new tax system by the end of next month, the Finance Ministry announced on Friday, while July data has given it reason to hope budget targets can be met.
The new system will include measures to curb tax evasion and create a more just levy and collection plan, according to the presentation, titled Strategic Greek Tax Management Plan 2011-2015, by the ministry.
Alternate Minister Pantelis Economou stated that “July revenues exceed expectations by 3.16 percent and that was without additional measures last month. If we continue like that when we discuss the tax issues in the fall we will be within the targets of the midterm fiscal plan.”
Economou and the rest of the government were satisfied to see inflation drop to 2.4 percent in July, from 3.3 percent in June, according to data released on Friday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
The decline was attributed to the summer sales and the decline in pharmaceuticals’ prices.

è da mesi che mi chiedo come si comporterà la BCE su questi bond e non hanno mai detto che cosa faranno ... incredibile! neanche fossero dei privati investitori o un fondo.
Mica fanno gli speculatori!

Sottoscrivo, per la BCE la priorità non è sicuramente guadagnarci.
La questione qui è tutta su un piano politico e d'immagine, quindi devono:
1. evitare di perderci;
2. non possono mettersi in pancia dei trentennali, sarebbero indigesti.

La soluzione più semplice a parer mio:
li passeranno all'EFSF al prezzo di carico, che a sua volta li metterà a disposizione della Grecia per il buy back.

Ovviamente devono attendere che siano approvate le modifiche allo statuto dell'EFSF..

Named “43 places to see before you die”, the list contains a raft of landmarks and extraordinary sites around the world, reserving two spots for two of Greece’s best attractions.
Among spots such as the Pyramids, the Galapagos Islands etc, Santorini and the Parthenon have taken their place in the list of top destinations – at a time when tourism appears vital for the Greek economy to show some recovery.
Santorini has clearly stolen the imagination of the popular travel review as it is this photo that was chosen as a cover for the whole issue.
“Santorini’s fundamental attraction is its profound aura of calm. It seems that there are few places in the world where time stands still - but this is one of those rare refuges,” the magazine claims, after exalting the beauty and the special character of the Cycladic island.
The Parthenon could not have been left out either, with the report being complete with the developments of the new museum and the works on the holy rock.
“After a recent restoration, the center of the Athenian Acropolis and symbol of Western democracy still inspires,” comments Smithsonian.

Oggi parto verso la Pentapoli, dove si è accasato il fratello della moglie.
La prossima settimana vedrò di esserci, ma mi devo assicurare i collegamenti internet.

In linea di massima lo penso anch'io ... d'altra parte il buy-back annunciato, mica lo faranno solo sul secondario illiquido ... .
Resta da capire però la questione del prezzo.
La BCE ha comprato lo scorso anno a prezzi notevolmente più alti degli attuali, a quale prezzo verranno dunque scambiati questi titoli con l'EFSF?
L'intenzione era intorno a quota 65 entro i decennali, ma la BCE dovrebbe averli in carico a prezzi più alti.
La differenza chi la mette?
Oppure, alzeranno la quota dei 65?
