Sul sito ieri scrivevano:The last standstill agreement expired yesterday at midnight. At least 95% of the creditors must approve the waiver. Otherwise Alpine may has to file for insolvency. The banks were ready to accept a partial waiver. Even the French credit insurer Coface gave in. However, the Austrian Ministry of Finance, which is the owner of the nationalized creditors still reject Alpine´s restructuring concept. OeKB (Austrian Clearing Bank) would have to accept write-downs of € 50m.
The Austrian Ministry of Finance explains that a partial waiver is only possible in case of Alpine´s insolvency. Bank´s representatives do not comprehend the Ministry´s point of view. In case of an insolvency, OeKB would have to accept substantially higher write-downs, they say. According to Alpine´s corporate spokesman Johannes Gfrerer, the creditors will continue the talks with the Austrian Ministry of Finance.
detta così sembra una situazione assurda
As at the end of 28 February 2013 the standstill agreed with ALPINE’s funding parties will expire. Regardless, the restructuring talks are being continued. The large majority of Austrian and international banks and insurance companies have stated that they support the restructuring concept and will continue to stand still for as long as the negotiations continue. Some individual consents are still required. Today, talks with the Ministry of Finance which are necessary to implement the restructuring concept have not had the required result. The talks are being continued at maximum intensity.
