NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. natural gas inventories rose 2 billion cubic feet in the week ended Nov. 27, in line with analysts' expectations, the Energy Information Administration reported Thursday. At the current level, stocks were 470 billion cubic feet higher than last year at this time and 487 billion cubic feet above the five-year average. After the data, January natural gas futures remained lower, down 1% at $4.481 per million British thermal units.
