Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is likely to "reinforce" the message of the June meeting's press conference, guiding the market toward an announcement of balance sheet normalization and a rate-rise by end-2017, Deutsche Bank says. Will bond markets see this as a hawkish stance and sell bonds? After all, according to European Central Bank vice president Vitor Constancio's comments to CNBC on June 28, the speech by ECB President Mario Draghi the day before was "totally in line with the statement" ofthe ECB's June monetary policy meeting. But the bond market thought otherwise, interpreted the Draghi speech as a hint toward tapering and kick-started a prolonged sell-off.
