Freddo in arrivo - notizia del 02/09/2004
Si teme che l’ arrivo di un fronte freddo nel nord degli States, previsto per la fine della prossima settimana, possa rallentare la maturazione della soia.
Il contratto di novembre (SX4), dopo aver toccato - a $6,52 – il prezzo più alto da metà luglio, ha chiuso a $6,372 con un guadagno di 10 cents.
Il contratto di dicembre dell’ olio di soia (BOZ4) ha guadagnato 0,77 cents, realizzando - a 25,97 cents – la chiusura più alta degli ultimi tre mesi.

Current projections from the National Hurricane Center are calling for the
center of Frances to make landfall along the east-central coast of Florida,
just to the south of Cape Canaveral and near Melbourne, on Saturday morning
with sustained winds near 140 to 150 miles per hour, Global Weather Services
said. Locations near and to the north of the eye likely will be the hardest
hit, GWS said.
"The hurricane is expected to have a large area of tropical-storm force
winds which are forecast to approach the coast much earlier," according to a
release on the National Hurricane Center's Web site. "This may require a
hurricane watch for portions of the Florida east coast this evening or early
Thursday."
Hurricane warnings are currently in effect for the southeastern and
central Bahamas, while a hurricane watch has been issued for the northwestern
Bahamas, GWS said. The center of Hurricane Frances is forecast to pass just to
the north of the Bahamas by Wednesday into Thursday, but the exact track
remains uncertain.
There is also speculation about the possibility of Frances becoming a
Hurricane Five before it reaches the U.S.
Frances is expected to be a much larger storm than Charley, a powerful
hurricane that made landfall on Florida's southwest coast in mid-August. The
storm is expected to be wider and move slower than Charley, a Florida trader
said.
"Since the hurricane-force winds (are expected to) go out so far, areas
will have hurricane-force winds for a lot longer period of time," a Florida
broker said. "So where the eye goes, it will be a more fierce hurricane than
Charley."

stavo giusto vedendo che combinava l'orange juice, altri rialzo del 5% però le scandenza lontane non sono ancora a premio e il contango si mantiene severo, segno che se l'hurricane passa e non fa molti danni comunque i fondamentali rimangono negativi per l'eccesso di produzione
