NEW YORK, Sept 20 (Reuters) - U.S. natural gas futures slid more than 5 percent early Monday, pressured by milder autumn weather, weaker cash gas and no storm threats to offshore Gulf of Mexico production.
As of 11:06 a.m. EDT (1506 GMT), front-month October natural gas futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange NGV0 were down 19.9 cents, or 4.95 percent, at $3.825 per million British thermal units, after sliding as low as $3.814 in electronic trade.
Last week the front month contract hit a three-week high of $4.144.
