Vima: PASOK, New Democracy owe over EUR 130 mln to Greek banks

Athens. The ruling Greek socialist party PASOK and the oppositional conservative part New Democracy have big debt to banks and are absolutely dependant on state subsidies, Greek Vima newspaper writes. Their debt amount to more than EUR 130 mln and they have received state advance payment at least until 2016, a publication reads, cited by Makfax. It is envisaged next year the two biggest political parties in Greece to get money depending on their results at the early general elections in October. The act of 2010 forbids parties to be sponsored by companies and their only resource of funds is the state subsidies and membership payment. However, the two parties have taken bank loans as well and their debt exceeded over the expected revenues.

BERLIN, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Germany cannot pay for Greece's fiscal mistakes, Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble was quoted on Monday as saying, reiterating his view that Athens must solve its budget problems itself.
Hit by rating downgrades, the euro zone's weakest member has seen its borrowing costs shoot higher on worries over its capacity to service a debt load that will top 300 billion euros next year.
"The situation is uncomfortable," Schaeuble told mass selling German daily Bild in an interview.
"Greece has been living beyond its means for years. The country cannot avoid saving and helping itself. We Germans cannot pay for the Greeks' mistakes," he added.
On Friday, Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou said Athens wants to enact tax reform by next March to boost budget revenues and convince creditors it is serious about restoring fiscal health.
But the premium investors demand to hold 10-year Greek government bonds rather than euro zone benchmark German Bunds rose again on Monday as concerns about the country's fiscal situation persisted. [ID:nLDE5BK0MO]
The president of Germany's Bundesbank central bank, Axel Weber, said earlier this month there was no need for the International Monetary Fund to help Greece out of its fiscal difficulties.
Papaconstantinou has also said there is no reason for Greece to ask the IMF for help and that Athens will instead solve its problems "inside the European Union and according to the bloc's rules".

D'altronde la pacchia di tassi a 0 non può mica durare all'infinito.

Il punto è che nei prox mesi si devono creare le nuove aspettative sui tassi per la prox fase economica.

Anche nel tardo pomeriggio le quotazioni dei TdS Grecia rimangono estremamente deboli, su alcuni titoli si toccano nuovi minimi.
Lo spread/bund/decennale registra, secondo ft.com: Grecia 275 pb, Italia 84 ... Portogallo 82, Spagna 77.

Non l'ho considerato perché non è quotato al MOT ma tanto, sia con IWB che Fineco, te lo acquistano solo al telefono (per via del rateo che potrebbe trarre in inganno chi non conosce questo tipo di obbligazione).

Adesso vedo che l GGbei30 quota circa 71, ma paga 2.3 invece del 2.9 della l GGbei25.

Bisognerebbe fare due conti....

il ggbi 25 2,9 rende il 3.6 a 82 e il 2030 rende il 3.2 a 71 senza contare
il rimborso a scadenza.

Se vi interessano i "ciofeconi" meglio la CMS 20, almeno si difende bene.
