Sinceramente la questione rimane ancora aperta, le soluzioni sono sempre lì a portata di mano.
La vicenda può avere ancora buone opportunità di fuoriuscita positiva.
Tutti continuano a ripetere che un piano "B" non esiste, ed io - d'altronde - non riesco ad immaginarmelo.
Non ci può essere nessuna soluzione che non contempli un "salvate il soldato Ryan" ...

Atene, 17 giu. (TMNews) - Il primo ministro greco Georges Papandreou ha nominato oggi Evangelos Venizelos nuovo ministro delle Finanze al posto di Georges Papaconstantinou, che diventa ministro dell'Ambiente. Lo ha annunciato un portavoce dell'esecutivo.
Già ministro della Difesa, il 54enne Venizelos, 54 anni, che è stato anche nominato vice-premier al fianco dell'attuale vice primo ministro Theodoros Pangalos (che mantiene l'incarico) avrà il duro compito di gestire la crisi finanziaria e sociale della Grecia, facendo passare in parlamento un pacchetto di tagli alla spesa pubblica del valore di 28 miliardi di euro da realizzare tra il 2012 e il 2015.

All'indomani di una nuova manifestazione di piazza contro il piano 'lacrime e sangue', la sostituzione di uno dei ministri più contestati dalla piazza (quello delle Finanze, appunto, Papaconstantinou) potrebbe però non bastare a riportare la pace sociale. Il premier Georges Papandreou va verso il voto di fiducia di martedì, mentre alcuni esponenti del suo partito - la formazione socialista Pasok - hanno preso le distanze dalla manovra di austerità.
"Nella mia vita ho imparato - ha detto ieri il premier - a combattere per il Paese e per la sua gente. Continuerò sullo stesso cammino, insieme al gruppo parlamentare del Pasok e al popolo greco. Ecco perché ho annunciato la formazione di un nuovo governo e immediatamente dopo ho chiesto un voto di fiducia dal Parlamento".

O’Neill Says Europe Must Solve Greek Crisis as Risks Increase

Goldman Sachs Asset Management Chairman Jim O’Neill said European officials must fix Greece’s debt crisis soon or risk the country’s leaders seeking their own solution.
“Somebody needs to do something pretty soon because the consequences of it are slowly getting worse,” O’Neill said in an interview with Ryan Chilcote on Bloomberg Television in St. Petersburg today. “The Greeks might say, ‘You know what, we’re sick of you guys treating us like kids, we’re going to just do what we want to do.’”
Speculation that a government shakeup in Greece will disrupt the passage of austerity measures and a delay by European Union leaders in agreeing a solution to the crisis have unsettled markets. While France and the European Central Bank favor a “voluntary” rollover of Greek debt by investors, Germany is pushing for bondholders to shoulder part of the cost of a new Greek aid package.
“I don’t know why the European policy makers can’t just bite the bullet and get on with it and stop all these games going on,” O’Neill said. “The longer it drags on, the worse the risk to other countries is getting.”
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy are slated to meet today in Berlin to resolve their differences, after an emergency session of finance ministers in Brussels on June 14 failed to do so.
Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou today named Evangelos Venizelos, the defense minister, to the post of finance minister as part of a Cabinet reshuffle. He replaces George Papaconstantinou in a move that comes after weeks of public protests against austerity measures that brought tens of thousands of Greeks into the streets.
O’Neill said “it’s the choice of the Greeks” whether to default on their debt.

@ Baro e sethi. Non è ovviamente una cosa che auspichi. Tra l'altro come un po' tutti e forse anche di più ne sarei colpito personalmente. Tuttavia, così, a me la situazione sembra votata allo squilibrio. Dunque Gaudente diceva che, in caso di guai seri, la percentuale del recovery greco sarebbe stata 5-10% se non ricordo male. E gli altri stati europei?

Changes see most non-political figures leave the government

Defense Minister Evangelos Venizelos has been given the task of dealing with Greece’s economic crisis, as was appointed finance minister in a Cabinet reshuffle announced on Friday morning.
Venizelos was the most significant appointment in a reshuffle that saw few new figures brought into the government and relied mostly on removing some ministers and swapping others’ portfolios.
Venizelos, a former rival to Prime Minister George Papandreou for the leadership of PASOK, has also been appointed deputy prime minister alongside Theodoros Pangalos.
Giorgos Papaconstontinou, who had been finance minister, has been moved to the Environment and Energy Ministry, meaning that Tina Birbili, one of the non-political figures Papandreou had brought into his initial government, has been ousted.
Papaconstantinou had been touted for the foreign minister’s role but this went to Stavros Lambrinidis, who is an MEP and the vice-president of the Party of European Socialists in the European Parliament.
Lambrinidis has been a longstanding associate of Papandreou. Another of the prime minister’s aides, Yiannis Ragousis was moved from the Interior Ministry to the Transport Ministry
Dimitris Reppas will leave the Transport Ministry to take over at the Administrative Reform and E-Governance Ministry. Haris Kastandis will take over as Interior Minister and will be replaced at the Justice Ministry by Miltiadis Papaioannou.
Venizelos’s departure from the Defense Ministry means that his former deputy, Panos Beglitis, will take over the department.
Two of the government’s most high-profile figures, Michalis Chrysochoidis and Anna Diamontopoulou, remain in their previous posts as regional development and education ministers respectively.
One of the victims of the reshuffle was Louka Katseli, who had repeatedly clashed with the finance ministry and the troika when she was labor minister. She has been replaced by Yiannis Koutroumanis.
Andreas Loverdos remains as Health Minister. Christos Papoutsis also retains his post at the Citizens’s Protection Ministry. Pavlos Geroulanos will continue as Culture Minister while Costas Skandalidis stays at the Agricultural Development Ministry.
There was a significant change in terms of the government’s communications strategy as spokesman Giorgos Petalotis, who announced the reshuffle, is being replaced by Elias Mossialos.
Mossialos, a professor of health policy at the London School of Economics, has recently acted as a government adviser and is now the only significant non-political figure in the government.
One feature of Papandreou’s reshuffle has been for the figures from outside of the political world who had participated in his previous governments to be removed from office. A total of nine ministers and deputy ministers have lost their jobs.

LONDON, June 17 (Reuters) - The cost of insuring Greek debt against default hit a fresh record high above 2,000 basis points on Friday, as the country reshuffled its cabinet in a bid to win more support for vital austerity measures.
"Greece continues to weigh on sentiment, and there is unlikely to be any respite next week," said Markit analyst Gavan Nolan. "It is vital for Greece to restore political stability if it is to receive the next tranche of IMF funding."
Five-year credit default swaps (CDS) on Greek government debt rose 131 bps on the day to 2,025 bps, according to data monitor Markit. This means it costs 2.025 million euros to protect 10 million euros of exposure to Greek bonds.

Ti vai ad infognare in dati che sono difficilmente quantificabili per il fatto che si creerebbe una situazione completamente nuova ed inattesa, vedi ci sono troppe collusioni a livello mondiale x cercare di capire cosa potrebbe succedere.
Tecnicamente un recupero del credito dopo un default varia parecchio dalle telecom argentina che hanno recuperato quasi tutto e simile pure per la Russia alle mie argentina che ho perso senza contare i mencati interessi circa il 50/55% avendole comprate sotto cento e parecchio sottocento.
ma lo scenario come ho gia scritto di un default italiano o francese , ma tieni conto che prima si avrebbe Irlanda, Portogallo e probabilmente Spagna nel frattempo partirebbero deutche bank , bnp , intesa , unicredit e non voglio andare avanti altrimenti scrivo fino a domani................. passa all'asia, si stanno affrancando ora da un economia principalmente basata sull'espoortazione ma ci vorranno ancora diversi anni e nel frattempo un default del genere li troverebbe fortemente impreparati anche dal punto di vista sociale, nei paesi occidentali la democrazia ti permette di gestire crisi anche pesanti e default vedi islanda non ci sono state rivoluzioni ma ti immagini 1mlrd di cinesi che dopo aver assagiato la "carne" dopo decenni di pane e acqua si ritrovano in prospettiva di ritornare a pane e acqua........scenario troppo complesso ed imprevedibile per capire cosa potrebbe succedere............non ci pensare e vivi gli eventi
