BERLINO, 8 settembre (Reuters) - Il ministro delle Finanze tedesco Wolfgang Schaeuble ha detto oggi che la situazione in Grecia è "seria" e Atene non riceverà nuovi aiuti finchè non raggiunge gli obiettivi di bilancio stabiliti dai creditori internazionali.
"Signori e signore, la situazione in Grecia è seria", ha detto Schaeuble in un discorso alla Bundestag.
"Al momento la missione della troika è sospesa. Non ci si possono fare illusioni. La prossima tranche di aiuti non potrà essere pagata finchè questa missione non sarà in grado di confermare che la Grecia ha soddisfatto le condizioni".

scusate l'ignoranza ma i CDS (che sono OTC) funzionano come gli altri asset che si possono anche rivendere ... o funzionano più come dei contratti assicurativi dove non è consentito "tornare indietro".
Una volta pagato il premio punto e basta; un pò come l'assicurazione dell'auto ...

forse è una mink.iata mattutina, però ho questo dubbio.

In particolare con i naked CDS, per cui ti compri la "polizza" senza avere il sottostante da assicurare.

Ma per caso vi siete messi in denaro voi e prima semplicemente non c'era nessuno?
Ma non credo, perchè gli ordini non li prendeva neanche, almeno con Fineco poi non so. E' stata in panne per almeno 15-20 minuti da quando hanno aperto i mercati.

BERLIN, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Greece must make sure it fulfils the conditions needed to be a member of the euro zone, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Thursday, making him one of the most senior members of the government to question Greece's membership of the currency bloc.
He added that Germany stands ready to help Greece, but if the country did not meet the requirements set by the European Union, European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund, further aid payments could not be granted.
"I understand that there is resistance among the Greek population to austerity measures... But in the end it is up to Greece as to whether it can fulfil the conditions that are necessary for a membership of the common currency," Schaeuble said on Deutschlandfunk radio.
"We can give no discounts," added Schaeuble.
Backsliding in Athens has put a new aid payment from the country's international lenders in danger.
This has angered some German lawmakers, including several from Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives, who have started calling for Greece's ejection from the 17-nation currency area.
The head of the Christian Social Union, one of the three parties in Merkel's centre-right coalition, added his weight to the debate on Wednesday, saying he could not rule out the possibility of Greece leaving the euro zone.
Euro zone sources told Reuters on Wednesday that Greece will have to compensate for slippage on its budget deficit target this year in the 2012 budget and in other areas of reform agreed with international lenders to get the next aid tranche.
Schaeuble also urged Italy to work on consolidating its budget deficit.
"Italy knows it must correct its budget deficit, its high indebtedness and it has now, thank goodness .... after some backtracking, decided to make massive cuts to reduce the deficit. Let us hope that it stays on this course."
He pledged to continue efforts in Germany to reduce the German deficit.

But Greece's budget gap this year will be at least .........only a quarter of which is due to a deeper than expected recession,


..........meeting of European Union finance ministers on Sep. 16 discussed the Greek budget slippage on Monday and there was growing exasperation with the inability of Athens to deliver on agreed measures.

"We need a very clear explanation of how this is going to be delivered because we are getting sick and tired of having the same discussion every three months," the official said.

This will mean Greece will have to take action in the next few weeks, rather than just making more promises.


"The current Greek 2012 budget is not terribly ambitious, there is room for improvement there," the second source said.

But they also said some Greek politicians were playing dare with the euro zone, convinced the bloc would not let the country default and at the same time believing that austerity now would not bring improvement later, therefore it was not worth the pain.
"Greece may want to test the euro zone," the second euro zone source said.
Two sources said Germany warned Greece at the preparatory meeting on Monday that it was preparing a Plan B, if Athens did not meet the program criteria, but the Germans did not specify what they meant by it.
Several euro zone officials doubted that Berlin could move as far as letting Greece default.
"I guess it is arm twisting. But the Greek have a rare capacity to underperform which irritates a large number of people in euro zone finance ministries," a third euro zone source said.

Diciamocelo, se non fosse per i nostri soldini (altrimenti in molti si irritano), forse un bel default gli starebbe anche bene...

Diciamocelo, se non fosse per i nostri soldini (altrimenti in molti si irritano), forse un bel default gli starebbe anche bene...

sono d'accordo, per quanto valga, e la paura più grande è che l'italia stia facendo la stessa cosa...provate a metterci sotto pressione dura e vedrete tutti i mercati dove arrivano, comprese le vs banche (tedesche, freancesi, olandesi etc ) e noi nel mezzo, carne da macello
