si' , due secoli fa ... nel 1998 la Russia in bancarotta ha respinto l'offerta del Giappone di ricomprarsi le Curili e Sakhalin ... i tempi sono decisamente cambiati

Per quanto riguarda la Grecia, è entrata nella moneta unica presentando bilanci "alterati" dagli swap (anche l'Italia ne ha fatto uso).
Ma il "buco" grosso è stato fatto negli ultimi 5 anni seguitando con altri Swap, sotto la regia di Goldman Sachs.
La diminuizione della crescita del PIL ha affossato tutto il resto, mentre le prebende distribuite dal Governo in carica continuavano ad essere distribuite.

cmq nel 2010 si doveva tornare sul mercato nel 2011, ora nel 2012 ... chissà
In effetti, mi alleno ... questo thread è un'ottima palestra.
E' vero quello che dici, si pensava che verso la fine del 2011 si poteva tornare con titoli pluriennali. Invece siamo ancora alle prese con i bot/greek.
Nel frattempo è partita l'operazione dei "diaspora bonds" con il deposito presso la SEC dell'autorizzazione alla raccolta, qui si tratta di titoli a 5/10 anni.
Vedremo come andrà.
A questo punto mi auguro che il 2012 sia l'anno del ritorno, dubito perciò che in questi mesi (e nei prossimi trimestri) ci possa essere un'azione coercitiva nei nostri confronti.
Chi sottoscriverebbe il debito dopo aver "mazziato" i bondisti?
Rimarrebbe in piedi il solo EFSF a sottoscrivere i titoli, ma per quanto tempo?
Un conto è sostenere i corsi, intervenendo sul primario, facendo in modo di aver un buon bid/cover per diminuire i rendimenti da pagare. Altro conto è presentarsi come unico sottoscrittore ...

Il piano di privatizzazione degli asset immobiliari (la valutazione è quantomai incerta) prevede la concessione per 90 anni dei diritti di superficie e utilizzo dei beni.
Un pò come le nostre case in cooperativa.
Credo sia una buona opzione tra la vendita e l'affitto.

KKE accuses EU gov'ts
The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) accused the EU governments of "pushing the peoples to the dark abyss of capitalistic impasses, clashes and wars", commenting on the decisions of the two-day EU summit that ended on Friday in Brussels.
A KKE announcement said that the EU 27, "in full unanimity, decided the escalation of the war on salary scales, labor relations and social security rights in order to boost the competitiveness of the European monopolies with the Pact on the Euro and the Stability Pact".
On the matters of direct Greek interest, the KKE said that the Greek government's usual celebrations of Greek victories and acknowledgement of the sacrifices of the Greek people, and main opposition New Democracy's (ND) positions for change of the conditions of the Memorandum, "can no longer conceal the devastation that their common strategy brings to the people's interests".
On the EU decisions on the crisis in Libya, the KKE said that "the leading role of the EU forces in the imperialist war against the people of Libya shows that the monopolies and their governments are equally aggressive both internally and abroad".
The KKE stressed that "the working class and popular strata can raise obstacles and finally topple the capitalistic barbarity, creating their own alliance for popular authority, socialisation of the monopolies, for a planned growth, thus ridding the country of the imperialistic organisations and imperialistic wars".

The future of Greece’s five biggest highway projects is at stake because of funding shortfalls, daily Kathimerini writes. The paper quotes recent reports, adding that most of them are already two years behind schedule.
Works have stopped at several construction sites on the E65 road, which is designed to connect the Athens-Thessaloniki national road to the Egnatia Highway in northern Greece.
Construction of the Ionian Highway, from Antirio to Ioannina in western Greece, is dogged by similar problems, reports said. The 44 banks backing the motorway projects have turned off the funding tap in recent months in protest at allegedly low interest rates. Meanwhile, the consortiums involved in the projects are accusing the state of failing to pay some 25 million euros in VAT returns. Officials representing the consortiums in question have warned that unless a solution is reached by Easter, construction work on most sites will come to a halt.
