IMF's Thomsen:Greek programme will derail without reform
ATHENS | Wed May 18, 2011 4:01am EDT
ATHENS May 18 (Reuters) - Greece's economic adjustment programme will derail unless the debt-laden country's government steps up fiscal and structural reform efforts, the IMF's chief of mission said on Wednesday.
"I think that ... the programme will not remain on track without a determined reinvigoration of structural reforms in the coming months," Poul Thomsen told an economic conference in Athens.
"Unless we see this invigoration, I think the programme will run off track," he said.
