Da ieri il baby bond Atlas Corp 7,125% scd. 2027 US81254U4031 può essere nuovamente trattato, è stato assegnato un nuovo ticker: SESCF. Il titolo non era negoziabile da diverso tempo e molti investitori US erano rimasti intrappolati perché senza ticker di trading non poteva essere trattato.

Il titolo mi piace, sono molto positivo anche su First Bank e Banco Popular. Le banche a Porto Rico fanno parte del sistema bancario statunitense e sono assicurate con la Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC). Purtroppo negli ultimi anni Porto Rico ha dovuto affrontare gravi danni a causa di tempeste, uragani ( Irma e Maria ) e da ultimo il terremoto che hanno fiaccato l’economia del paese penalizzando non poco le banche. I rimborsi assicurativi e un recovery da $ 50 miliardi approvato dal congresso degli Stati Uniti stanno risollevando il paese. Secondo Moody’s, le prospettive per le tre principali banche del paese sono stabili, poiché l'agenzia di rating ritiene che Porto Rico uscirà dalla recessione e le banche saranno in grado di coprire le loro perdite di credito.
