LEHMAN BROTHERS QUARTO ATTO

Crash Lehman Brothers.

Eleventh Distribution Percentages Announced for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Its Debtor Affiliates

Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (“LBHI”), as Plan Administrator, announced today in a court filing the percentage recovery that will be distributed on October 6, 2016 to holders of allowed claims against LBHI and its various affiliated Debtors (collectively, “Lehman”).

Lehman’s aggregate eleventh distribution to unsecured creditors pursuant to its confirmed chapter 11 plan will total approximately $3.8 billion. This distribution includes (1) $3.1 billion of payments on account of third-party claims, which includes non-controlled affiliate claims, and (2) $0.7 billion of payments among the Lehman Debtors and their controlled affiliates (see Exhibit B to the court filing, Docket #53706, for further detail). Cumulatively through the eleventh distribution, Lehman’s total distributions to unsecured creditors will amount to approximately $113.6 billion including (1) $83.6 billion of payments on account of third-party claims, which includes non-controlled affiliate claims and (2) $30 billion of payments among the Lehman Debtors and their controlled affiliates.

In accordance with the chapter 11 plan, which was confirmed on December 6, 2011, and subject to available funds, the Lehman Debtors’ twelfth distribution to creditors is anticipated to be made within 5 business days of March 30, 2017.

Stiamo a vedere.

A German Bank Accidentally Transferred $5.4 Billion to Four Other Banks

24 marzo 2017

Germany’s state-owned development bank KfW, which gained publicity for erroneously transferring hundreds of millions of euros to Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. the day the U.S. firm filed for bankruptcy, has done it again.

KfW in February mistakenly transferred more than 5 billion euros ($5.4 billion) to four banks because of a technical glitch that repeated single payments multiple times, according to people familiar with the matter. The total amount transferred was as high as about 6 billion euros, said one of the people, who like the others asked not to be identified because the matter is private.
