In accordance with the Modified Third Amended Chapter 11 Plan of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Its Affiliated Debtors dated January 31, 2013 (ECF No. 34348) (the “Plan”) and the Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (“LBHI”), on August 2, 2018, the Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Plan Trust re-elected the following directors of LBHI (collectively, the “LBHI Directors”):

Frederick Arnold
Robert Gifford
Thomas Knott
Sean Mahoney
David Pauker
Ronald Tanemura
Owen Thomas

The term of the LBHI Directors shall expire on December 31, 2020, subject to prior death, disability, resignation, retirement, disqualification, or removal from office.

Dieci anni fa la Lehman Brothers Manca poco più di un mese al decimo anniversario del fallimento della banca di investimento americana Lehman Brothers e l'opinione prevalente è che le cause e gli effetti della più grave crisi finanziaria di questo dopoguerra siano stati ampiamente superati. Ma questa lettura della realtà è condivisibile?

Update – Announcement of first Scheme Distribution in relation to the scheme of arrangement, pursuant to Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006 – 25 July 2018

Further to the announcement published on 2 July 2018 (a copy of which can be accessed here), the Joint Administrators are pleased to confirm that a first Scheme Distribution of over £4.03 billion (after provision of £0.97 billion for withholding tax) has been made to Scheme Creditors entitled to Statutory Interest pursuant to the terms of the Scheme.

All Scheme Creditors who have received this first Scheme Distribution should now have received confirmation of the amount paid to them.

The Creditors’ Committee also held its final meeting by telephone last week and the Operating Committee is now effective. The Joint Administrators are very grateful for the Creditors’ Committee’s contribution to the Administration over such an extended period of time.
