this weeks storage poll is for week ending 10/5 and reported by EIA on 10/11.
observation:
mild week for temperatures. both HDDs and CDDs were lower than average and last year.
drop in weather related demand reduced power generation and commercial/residential demand by a total of nearly 5 bcf on the week.
total supply last week was approximately the same to just slightly higher than the week earlier.
year over year supply is narrowing as last fall production volumes were increasing rapidly while this year they are flat.
cash price to screen spread supporting higher arbitrage injections into salt facilities over the past few weeks.
