Churchill aveva anche soppesato (la clausola dubitativa è di stile) , nel discorso più importante dell'Era Moderna (IMHO), l'eventualità che Hitler si prendesse l'Inghilterra e il RE fosse costretto a "leave" ( a Bombay ?) :
