Per essere uno entrato ad 88 nel titolo, l'averlo visto balzare a 20 l'ha ringalluzzito non poco...

in effetti, se si guarda il grafico con un po' di distacco, ci si rende conto che la vera, unica buona notizia capace di invertire le quotazioni delle obbligazioni GM è stato il Chapter 11... - averlo fatto, prima, adesso Shark sarebbe seduto su un bel gain anche con le obbligazioni acquistate a 88...

sempre al fine di mettere di buon umore il nostro eroe, un piccolo estratto dell'accordo tra UAW e GM.

Come si legge, il Viagra, in alcuni casi, lo passa ancora l'azienda... - e pare che l'ipertensione sia diffusissima tra gli arzilli pensionati GM, soprattutto quelli con moglie giovane...

Deve essere un onore, continuare a foraggiare questi privilegi, spero che lo UAW si ricordi di Shark a Natale e gli mandi gli auguri...

E' che i guru si distinguono in due categorie: guru a miccia corta, tipo il multinick di cui sopra, e guru a miccia lunga, detti anche "shark style"...

Infatti: a seguire le sue indicazioni, mi stupisco come non avesse già da tempo dato fondo ai propri quattrini... avrà abbandonato per quello...

deCODE genetics Chapter 11 Petition Filed
deCODE genetics filed for Chapter 11 protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the District of Delaware, case number 09-.14063 The biotechnology company, which develops DNA-based tests to assess the individual risk of common diseases and improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment, is represented by Mark D. Collins of Richards, Layton & Finger. The Company states that in recent months, deCODE genetics and its advisors have “explored multiple restructuring alternatives, including the sale of specific portions of deCODE’s operations, the sale or license of its drug discovery programs, the restructuring of its outstanding convertible notes and the obtaining of new equity financing.” As a result, the Company already filed with the Court an asset purchase agreement with Saga Investments for the sale of its Iceland-based subsidiary Islensk Erfdagreining (IE) and its drug discovery and development programs. IE conducts deCODE’s human genetics research, manages its population genetics resources and provides its personal genome scans, DNA-based risk assessment tests and genomics services for contract customers. deCODE genetics anticipates that if the asset sale is consummated it would be liquidated pursuant to a plan of liquidation. The Company has also entered into a secured loan agreement with Saga which, subject to Court approval, will provide the Company with interim financing to fund post-petition operating expenses. The Chapter 11 filing is for deCODE genetics only and does not include IE or deCODE’s former U.S.-based subsidiaries deCODE Biostructures and Emerald BioSystems, which were recently sold to an unrelated third party.

Quello che scrive, come al solito, non ha molto senso, ma il documento citato è invece molto interessante (grazie, non avevo guardato i docket recentemente...). Appena ho un po' di tempo ne parliamo nel topic giusto, quello serio.

Una annotazione, a margine: mentre sul FOL Shark assicurava il rimborso dei bond in Euro a 100, per il desiderio dell'azienda di "non fare brutta figura con gli investitori esteri", altri parlavano dei mini-bond, "privilegiati" perchè in mano di "piccoli investitori americani ed inseriti nei piani pensionistici", GM probabilmente i favoritismi li faceva, eccome... - revocatoria in vista?
