US opens higher after August inflation rebounds

Wall Street opened higher on Friday hours after the August inflation
report showed that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) grew by 3.7% on a yearly basis and 0.6% monthly. Also, the mortgage application data was published before the opening bell,
showing a 0.8% drop. Furthermore, markets and investors received the latest updates on tech companies, including
Apple and
Starlink.
The Dow Jones gained 0.27%.
The Nasdaq 100 added 0.24% with Tesla going up 1.79%.
The S&P 500 rose 0.16%.
The euro was down by 0.06% against the dollar at 9:29 am ET, selling for $1.07472.
