Ta Nea: 13th, 14th salary in private sector in Greece preserved 15 July 2010 | 10:52
Athens. The 13th and 14th salaries in the private sector in Greece will be preserved, Greek Ta Nea informs. The national collective labor contract between the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) and employers, which will be signed on Thursday, envisages for the two extra salaries (given at Christmas, Easter and summer break) to be preserved, as well as a minimum increase in the salaries (1-1.5%) in 2011-2012.After long talks, the two parties seem to have reached agreement despite the explicit ban provided in the memorandum signed between the Greek cabinet and the EU and IMF for three-year freeze of the minimum work salary in the private sector from 2010 until 2012
