Ubi B.: esposta per 25 mln a Grecia


MILANO (MF-DJ)--Ubi B. ha un'esposizione lorda di 25 mln euro ai titoli sovrani emessi dalla Grecia.
E' quanto emerge dalle tabelle allegate ai comunicati sull'esito degli stress test. La banca lombarda e' inoltre esposta ai titoli italiani per 6,303 mld, ai titoli finlandesi per 10 mln, ai titoli francesi per 3 mln, ai titoli lussemburghesi per 120 mln, mentre non risultano ulteriori esposizioni.

B.Popolare: esposta per 151 mln a Spagna, per 89 mln a Grecia


MILANO (MF-DJ)--B.Popolare ha un'esposizione lorda di 151 mln euro ai titoli sovrani emessi dalla Spagna e di 89 mln nei confronti di quelli greci.
E' quanto emerge dalle tabelle allegate ai comunicati sull'esito degli stress test. La banca veronese e' inoltre esposta ai titoli italiani per 8,284 mld, mentre non risultano ulteriori esposizioni.

Greece officials optimistic on economy as only one of six banks fails EU stress test​

ATHENS, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Greek officials and analysts voiced optimism on the course of the national economy on Friday, as five in six Greek banks who took part in the stress tests conducted by European Union experts, passed.
The Committee of European Banking Supervisors announced that of a total of 91 European banks who were tested to check if they can overcome more pressures due to the international economic crisis in the near future, only seven failed. Among them is ATEBank from Greece.
The result is regarded quite positive by Greek analysts, since the Greek banking sector is under enormous pressure since the outbreak of the Greek debt crisis in late 2009.
After this outcome state-controlled ATEbank may have to seek new capital up to 240 million euros (307.6 million U.S. dollars) or the Greek government will have to examine more carefully the offer made recently by commercial Piraeus Bank to buy ATEbank and Greek Postbank.
Athens also has the option to financially assist ATEbank from a 10 billion euros (12.8 billion U.S. dollars) Financial Support Fund created last month in the framework of the 110 billion euros (140.9 billion U.S. dollars) safety net which was activated by the European Union and the International Monetary Fund for debt-ridden Greece.
Greek Central Bank Governor George Provopoulos expressed confidence on the course of the national economy during a meeting with Greek President Karolos Papoulias on Friday.
"The worst part is over," Provopoulos stressed.

Anche in fine settimana il quadro degli spread sul bund decennale risulta poco mosso. I lievi recuperi sono dovuti al fatto che il Bund ha ceduto qualche posizione.

ATHENS July 24 (Reuters) - Greece will now get a second aid tranche of a European Union and International Monetary Fund bailout as it has met the conditions set in an austerity plan, its finance minister was quoted as saying on Saturday.
EU, IMF and European Central Bank officials will be in Athens on Monday to check whether Greece is implementing its 110 billion euro ($141.6 billion) programme to secure another 9 billion euros in aid. Greece received a first payment of 20 billion euros from its euro zone partners and the IMF in May.
"The disbursement of the second tranche depends on whether we meet the targets we have been set to meet by June 30," Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou said in an interview with the weekly Kosmos tou Ependyti newspaper.
"These conditions have been met and we have taken a further step by passing the pension reform bill."
The EU, ECB and IMF mission gave the debt-laden country good marks at the end of June, saying it seemed on track with the plan to cut public expenditure, boost revenues and make structural reforms.[ID:nLDE65G1IC]
But they pointed to some trouble spots, including hospital spending and social security overruns.
The Minister also reiterated his call on Greek banks to join forces in order to be able to pour liquidity into the market and help boost the country's economy.
"Any decisions that lead to bigger groups with high capital adequacy, international expansion and scale economies will help towards this direction," Papaconstantinou said.
Earlier this month Greece's fourth-largest lender, Piraeus Bank (BOPr.AT), offered to buy the state's controlling stakes in Hellenic Postbank (TT) (GPSr.AT) and ATEbank (AGBr.AT), setting the stage for mergers in the sector. [ID:nLDE66F06F]
Papaconstantinou said the government would not make up its mind on the bid until its advisers finished their evaluation.
Bank stress test results published on Friday showed ATEbank and another six European lenders failed and were ordered to raise their capital by 3.5 billion euros, much less than expected, confirming fears the continent's long-awaited stress test was too soft. Intesa Sanpaolo: esposta per 828 mln a Grecia, per 556 mln a Spagna


MILANO (MF-DJ)--Intesa Sanpaolo ha un'esposizione lorda ai titoli sovrani emessi dalla Grecia di 828 mln euro, mentre ammonta a 556 milioni quella nei confronti della Spagna e a 156 milioni quella verso l'Irlanda.
E' quanto emerge dalle tabelle allegate ai comunicati sull'esito degli stress test. La banca lombardo-piemontese e' inoltre esposta ai titoli italiani per 863,681 mld, ai titoli slovacchi per 3,038 mld, ai titoli del Regno Unito per 1,080 mld, ai titoli ungheresi per 718 mln, ai titoli tedeschi per 529 mln, ai titoli francesi per 434 mln, ai titoli belgi per 74 mln, ai titoli austriaci per 57 mln, ai titoli lussemburghesi per 44 mln, ai titoli portoghesi per 25 mln e ai titoli dei Paesi Bassi per 3 mln.

Mi sembra una cifra esagerata... mi aspettavo una crifra alta tipo 300-400 mld ma 863 è spaventosa... secondo me il dato è sbagliato... vorrebbe dire che più del 50% del debito pubblico italiano è in mano a ISP! In pratica Passera avrebbe più influenza politica del presidente del consiglio sui destino dell'Italia... se una mattina si sveglia male siamo fottuti

E Unicredit invece solo 38 mld?! mi sarei aspettato 10 volte tanto... qua c'è qualcosa che non mi torna...

Mi sa che hai ragione, il dato di ISP sarà certamente sbagliato: forse c'è un errore di battitura ... un numero in più .

GRECIA: MIN. FINANZE, OTTERRA' SECONDA TRANCHE AIUTI UE-FMI

(AGI) Atene - Il ministro delle Finanze greco Papaconstantinou: Atene otterra' la seconda tranche di aiuti dalla Ue e dall'Fmi.
Secondo il ministro, infatti, il governo ellenico ha rispettato le condizioni del piano di austerity imposto. "Queste condizioni sono state soddisfatte - ha detto Papaconstantinou in un'intervista a un quotidiano - e abbiamo compiuto un ulteriore passo approvando la riforma delle pensioni". Lunedi' i funzionari della Ue, del Fondo e della Bce arriveranno ad Atene per verificare se il governo greco abbia rispettato il piano di austerity e possa quindi beneficiare di altri 9 miliardi di euro di aiuti. La Grecia ha gia' ricevuto una prima tranche di risorse per 20 miliardi.
