ATENE, 24 maggio (Reuters) - Un'insolvenza sul debito sovrano greco avrebbe pesanti ripercussioni sul merito di credito del paese e del sistema bancario, con ricadute significative su altri paesi della 'periferia' dell'unione monetaria.
Lo dice una nota di Moody's Investors Service dedicata all'analisi dei possibili effetti di un default sovrano da parte di Atene.
"Più prosegue l'attuale stato di incertezza sulla Grecia più aumenta la tentazione da parte delle autorità tanto greche quanto europee di tentare una qualche sorta di ristrutturazione del debito", scrive l'agenzia.
"Moody's ritiene che un default avrebbe effetti negativi sul rating sovrano - che scenderebbe a 'Ca' o 'C' - e potenzialmente su altri paesi della zona euro sotto pressione oltre che sulle banche greche, per quanto ci si possa sforzare che sia 'ordinata' l'operazione" aggiunge.
