The General Index moved into positive territory throughout the trading session on Friday, and ended very close to session high, while banks’ course was similar.

The domestic market now focuses on the forthcoming EU Summit on December 9, amid Franco-German statements on the need to revise European Treaties and promote financial integration in the Eurozone. The latter is welcomed by the markets, although there are still many uncertainties.

The European Summit will be in the spotlight, along with ECB’s decision on a possible reduction in interest rates by 25 basis points next Friday, said Beta.
